Harmonising Design and Purpose

Tasked with a meaningful project, I was given the opportunity to design a poster and a series of social media posts for an upcoming charity event. This event was a fundraiser, featuring the live band 'Phoenix5', with all proceeds generously going to Dementia Australia, a cause that touches so many lives.

Striking the Right Chord: Balancing Aesthetics and Purpose

The challenge was multifaceted: to create designs that resonated with the unique and vibrant style of 'Phoenix5', while also aligning with the venue, Moruya Waterfront Hotel. To ensure that our promotional materials appealed to a wide audience and effectively communicated the event’s purpose, I decided to create two distinct posters. Alongside this, I developed a comprehensive suite of social media tiles, tailored for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram posts, stories and reels. This multi-faceted approach ensured a consistent and engaging presence across all digital channels, maximizing the reach and impact of our promotional campaign.

The final designs captured the energetic vibe of 'Phoenix5', the visual harmony created was not just appealing, but appealing, playing a crucial role in promoting this community event. This project was a reminder that design has the power to inspire, to bring people together, and to make a difference.
